The Tejas model 2442 Deluxe outdoor barbecue pit smoker is built to last and built with great attention to detail.  Our Texas outdoor barbecue pit smoker holds temperature and does not leak because the doors and lids seal tight.  This newest Tejas smoker pit is a pleasure to cook on.  You can concentrate on COOKING, not messing with the bbq pit to keep it at temperature.  As befitting a top-of-the-line smoker pit, it is outfitted with all the bells and whistles and then some.  Designed for those who want only the best, from Tejas Smokers, Houston Texas .

Optional extras such as a Premium vinyl cover, sauce bowl and holder, side burner, and a wide array of cooker stands and high btu/hr crab cookers are available.  The 2442 Deluxe has a gas convenience outlet which makes it easy to connect whatever high pressure propane appliance you wish in just seconds:
160,000 btu/hr Fish fryer: 160,000 btu/hr high heat side burner. We call it our "Fish Fryer". Attaches on the handles of ALL Tejas Smokers and Grills. Shown with optional needle valve control and quick connect pigtail hose. Keep a pigtail on all your appliances and use the flexible quick connect hoses with sockets to effortlessly make the connections.Fish Fryer burner in place at end of Model 2442 Deluxe  225,000 btu/hr Crab Cooker: Top view of CCMAX 225,000 btu/hr high heat burner in our 16"l x 16"w x 14.5"h heavy duty crab cooker stand. This unit weighs 65 pounds. Also shown is a needle valve gas control and 9" pigtail quick connect hose. Laying on the ground is the quick connect gas socket which runs back to the Gas Convenience Outlet on the Smoker Pit. Use whatever high pressure propane gas appliance you wish. Single, Dual, or Triple Burner Cooker Stands: Optional dual burner cooker stand with quick connect pigtail hose not connected to the quick connect gas socket laying on the ground. Connections/disconnections can be made under gas pressure. 

Our cooker stands have removable legs and can be used at two different heights.  The dual and triple burner cooker stands have carrying handles and a rack on the rear of the cooker stand for convenient storage of the legs during transit.  Perfect for tailgating!  These units are our designs and like all Tejas products they are built to last.

Dual burner cooker stands can be used at two heights. The legs for the dual (or triple) burner stands can be conveniently stored when not in use (or for transit) on the rear side of the cooker stand.The unique design of this storage rack makes it difficult for the legs to fall out during transit.Our dual burner stand weighs 46# (the triple burner stand weighs 66#). Definitely not Home Depot junk, however the convenient carrying handle makes moving the stand fairly easy. This is a great unit for the Tailgaters!

Premium Vinyl Cover:   This custom vinyl cover has a texture like a heavy weigh Naugahyde. The interior surface is smooth. The covering is an outdoor spa cover material designed to give years of outdoor use. Two brass grommets at the bottom center, front and rear, for a bungee type cord (not supplied) for very high wind conditions.   Stainless Steel Sauce Bowl with Swivel Arm:  Optional stainless steel shown in place.Optional stainless steel sauce bowl in swivel holder. This keeps your basting sauce bowl from turning over.
